Peace (Part One) Through a Child's Eyes

 “What is Peace?” Beautiful is the sight of peace through a child's eyes. Read what  the fourth grader's  in my son's class wrote for answers. ( Bible verses were added by me to confirm what thier hearts believe.)

 

 

"Peace is when everything is calm."

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace be still. And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.


"Peace is like peace on earth. If you want silence you can say peace on earth."

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”           

"Peace is when everything is okay. There's no fighting or bad conflict. Nothing's wrong and there is just peace on earth."

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.




While the news report show of sufferings, may we find the wish, the dreams and the hopes of these children. God bless you as you listen to children...knowing peace begins with "me."
