Zip a dee Doo dah

While attending our writing class, several of the writers were sent rejection letters.  And yes, I was one of them. We wanted to enjoy acceptance letters. It wasn't easy to be patient, yet, through encouragement we found the joy God promises.

James 1:2-4 (NKJV) My Brethren, count all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

On the lighter side of all the rejection we also came up with words that made us smile and shrug our shoulders with an “Oh well. “ A little jingle gets played in our heads as we sing it to each other. Having repeat this song to each other, we are uplifted and it reminds us to be patient in our work and to not give up.

The song became a catchy little reminder tune. We laugh when we sing it. I love the joy it brings.

The Lord is good so to us and He or perfect example of patience. I wonder if He ever sings when He get rejected, Hmmmm?
